We had a fantastic start to our Guatemalan holidays at The Purpose Hostel. Tatiana, a very patient and helpful staff member, answered all our questions and made us feel so welcome. The highlight was enjoying our morning coffee on the beautiful terrace with a view of three volcanoes. I highly recommend this hostel for a great stay.

Every detail has been thought through, making it a truly wonderful experience. the owner is friendly and outgoing, making us feel at home instantly. She knows the best food places in town and helped us with other questions. the rooms are comfortable, the showers are hot and clean, and the rooftop terrace offers an incredible view. the staff is lovely and the hostel supports deaf people and teaches local indigenous women important skills. This is one of the best hostels we've ever been to. Highly recommended!
Nothing not to love! 😊.

The hostel had a nice, modern decor and a beautiful terrace. the owner was friendly and helpful. They provided free water, tea, and coffee. the rooms were clean and comfortable. the location was convenient and there was a great restaurant nearby.
The lack of privacy in the toilets and showers was a downside. the toilet walls and doors didn't offer much privacy, as they were open on the top and bottom.

My recent stay at a hostel in a beautiful colonial town was really good. The friendly people there were very good too ensure I had a great time. The relaxed vibe and clean facilities, including a chill rooftop terrace, made my stay even better. The best part was knowing that by staying there, I was also contributing to the community. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the area.

My partner and I stayed at this gem of a hostel for a few days and were blown away by the wonderful staff, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful rooftop terrace. The owner, Tatyana, was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hostel is located in a quieter area, allowing for a good night's sleep, yet still close enough to the center. The bathrooms were spotless and the hostel offered free water, tea, and coffee. it's the perfect place to relax and unwind while in town.
Would recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel! The purpose behind it really shines through in every detail. The owner is friendly and helpful, and she knows all the best food spots in town. The rooms are comfortable and the showers are clean. The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area. It's not a party hostel, which was perfect for us as we wanted a tranquil atmosphere. We also enjoyed the free water and coffee all day, as well as the great wifi. Highly recommended!

The Purpose Hostel offered really good value for money with comfortable and clean rooms, and great social spaces. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was centrally located.
The breakfast offerings could benefit from more variety or options.
